Prime and Composite Numbers

Published on

Prime numbers are special numbers that can only be divided evenly by 1 and themselves. For example, the number 2 is a prime number because it can only be divided evenly by 1 and 2.

Composite numbers are numbers that can be divided evenly by other numbers besides 1 and themselves. For example, the number 4 is a composite number because it can be divided evenly by 1, 2, and 4.

So, to remember it, you can think of prime numbers as being like unicorns - they are special and unique, and composite numbers are more like dogs - there are many of them and they can be found everywhere!
